well that sucked...

The part where the guy got set on fire was the best. Took me back to my childhood days with the green plastic army men and the gas can for the lawnmower. Such epic battles and for some reason the guy with the flame-thrower always won.

@wasnr: [*nod*] the GI Joes i use to play with helped channel my otherwise uncheck aggression toward the dissimulated hypocrisy as perceived through my pre-adolecent world-view. ah, good times..

@gladeplugins: Dark Knight is really a movie for the kid at heart--if the kid at heart longs for the pacification of injustice in an epic battle between individuals wrought with immense personal stigmata and polar ideals.

Also: Meh.

Posted on 7/21/2008 10:49:55 AM

Not bad, but the funniest thing on this page is Gladstone's comment.

Posted on 7/20/2008 11:45:39 PM

Hahaha, hilarious and original! Dark Knight really isn't a kid's movie when you think about it.

Having watched that other sketch, I think this one works a lot better. Spider-Man 3 was merely gay, whereas The Dark Knight is too terrifying for even the most non-bed-wetting of us.

wow is that really how harvey dent became two-face?
haha.

"holy s**t!"

Posted on 7/20/2008 6:09:05 PM

Yeah, it is similar to the "Spider-Man 3 set" video, but did you notice how THIS one was a lot less gay? They may have borrowed a concept, but they did with it what should have been done first ;p.

So when you're not totally ripping off Olde English sketches, what do you guys do?

Posted on 7/20/2008 9:35:47 AM

now THAT is an action figure commercial! Funny as heck!

Posted on 7/19/2008 4:31:34 PM

what's with all these "meh"s? I thought that was pretty brilliant. After watching the Dark Knight, a similar thought occurred to me: Warner Brothers wants to sell action figures . . . for this?
