I think guns do kill people. Have you ever tried to kill someone by throwing a bullet at them? harder than it sounds.
Guns don't kill people. I have one laying on a table across the room, and if nobody picks it up it will lay there until it rust solid, and hurt no one. If however, a child, a mental patient, someone who just has no respect for life picks it up, we're all in trouble. Keep the guns out of the hands of people like these two assholes, and the "gun problem" will be dramatically reduced.
That's actually the best reason I've heard for guns being dangerous ever! Seriously - someone could get really hurt if that doesn't kill when it's supposed to. Nice job, guys!
Sonicscream2, we didn't need the atomic bomb, we could have just use conventional bombs like both sides used to kill civilians, or instead of bombing Japan to get them to surrender, we could have invaded, causing even more casualties on both sides. So it doesn't matter what weapons humans have, we will continue killing.
