Guns don't kill people. I have one laying on a table across the room, and if nobody picks it up it will lay there until it rust solid, and hurt no one. If however, a child, a mental patient, someone who just has no respect for life picks it up, we're all in trouble. Keep the guns out of the hands of people like these two assholes, and the "gun problem" will be dramatically reduced.

Sonicscream2, we didn't need the atomic bomb, we could have just use conventional bombs like both sides used to kill civilians, or instead of bombing Japan to get them to surrender, we could have invaded, causing even more casualties on both sides. So it doesn't matter what weapons humans have, we will continue killing.

Justcool think of it this way: Remeber the Atomic Bomb Explosion in Hiroshima/Nagasaki during WWII?
We may have dropped the bomb, but it was the bomb that killed the residents of the city. If your gun thing applies in this case saying that the bomb didn't kill the tens of thousands of people, it was us and we didn't need the help of the bomb.
