@ Doctorchaos Actually, I think the "a few years from now" opening to Mad Max is not to be taken literally. It's supposed to be timeless, as in "a few years from whenever it is you are watching this movie, you know, before the whole world crumbled, cities exploded and everything turned into a huge desert". A future distant enough to allow time for civilization to breakdown and for a cute little baby to grow into a full blown badass road warrior with anti-Semitic inclinations. My point being that the idea for #1 works and is very clever.
