ReplyNope, there was just "Outbreak" in 1995 with Dustin Hoffman. "Pink Eye" would be the (fictional) sequel.

ReplyExcept The Happening had nothing to do with pollen and in fact hgad to do with the REAL LIFE chemical scents that plants can use to effect the world around them. Cracked even has done an article that touches on the insane defense mechanisms that the Corn plant has :P
