How f**king dumb are you people? Who cares what green-white red is? The patches (all 3 of them) are blue-white-red, as in the French flag. What, one patch has a little glare on it and all of a sudden one guy out of three is Italian?
Uh, guys. About the shoulder patch, I'm pretty sure that the sun hit is at a weird angle, which makes the blue part look somewhat green. Stare at it hard for a bit, it's really just really light blue due to glare.

Hey, gotkilledbynoobleo, KiddBlack got it right. The Famas is the standard service rifle of the French Foreign Legion. It's an acronym fr the type of rifle (assault) and where it was made (Saint Etienne.)

A variant of the FAMAS is the primary rifle for the French army, not just he FFL.

French, the patch is at an angle that makes it hard to tell by the colours on the flag but the patch shape is the same a those worn by the French.
