I know for a fact that Sam Rami would not have used a photoplasty to storyboard Jaws. He would have used stickmen, one with giant evil teeth, like he used in Evil Dead 2. They would have had arrows pointing at each person with names like "Bruce" and "Jaws" so that we knew who had the giant evil teeth and who didn't.
Replyoh its a ghostbusters car thingy. yeah good idea to use an ultra blurry image of it.
ReplyIs it really that hard to see the logo? And it's probably blurry because it had its perspective altered, and it even fits with the shot's depth of field.
Number Fourteen...no. Just no. The 'Driving Miss Daisy' one was admittedly hilarious, though.
ReplyI hate to say this, but what movie is #7?
Replyit's Eastern Promises.. such a good movie! One of the best fight scenes ever.
#1 is my fave :D
ReplyI don't get #12. But I agree with Tiberio about #'s 3 and 1.
Reply Hide All See All 7 RepliesSeriously you don't get #12? It's the least imaginative & most straight-forward of them all. So simple I can't explain it.
Gandhi starved himself to protest the Indian people not getting along while many people begged him to stop. Him dying of starvation was the ending to the Gandhi movie how do you not know that?
Also, he's eating a cheeseburger.
Gandhi didn't die of starvation...he was shot.
He's Indian, a vegetarian, and eating beef, pretty much sums it up right there.
When you need to ask yourself how anyone can be stupid enough to not get it, ask JakkFrost because he also didn't get it.
AHEM, HUNGER STRIKE! That was....pretty much his whole thing. At least in the movie.
I didn't get it because A) I've never met or read up on Hindus and B) didn't watch the movie Ghandi.
Is there a teminator in the bacground of number one or something? I can't figure it out... or how its supposed to be funny.
ReplyThe Ghostbuster's car (the Ecto 1) is in the background.
They're going to ghost bust Bruce Willis.
well #3 was my personal winner, and then came #1. #16 is not very creative, and #20 is lazy, mildly suggestive, and simply not funny (by my standards)
ReplyI'm still laughing at 16. Must move on.
ReplyThey finally nailed the winner ^.^ #1 made me cracked my pants :P
ReplyNo, that was just you bending over. Happens to me all the time.
what movie is #19?...
Reply Hide All See All 4 RepliesLooks like Little Miss Sunshine.
@badabadabedaum I think the joke is he ran over a cyclist, not sure though.
@badabadabedaum I feel dumb, supposed to be on the comment below, my bad.
It's Transformers Three.
#2 is such good stuff!
Replyi spent about a minute looking at #2, trying to figure out what i was seeing in the rear window, and gave up. what is it?
@plaintiger I think the joke is he ran over a cyclist, not sure though.
What movie is #13 from?
Replythe reader LOL
when did transformers become considered great?
ReplyNot Transformers, Little Ms. Sunshine was super funny - so I am assuming that's the great movie.
took me a few moments for #1, but when i saw it, i was like "oh, that's too cool!"
Reply Hide All See All 4 RepliesI still can't see whatever is there in #1. Someone spell it out.
Sorry phil100, no help for you. Look harder.
Gotta help out phil here, but just a little. Remember the Family Guy episode where 4 guys interrupted the romantic pottery moment in Ghost, and did so very rudely?
If there's something strange in the neighborhood, who you gonna call? ...........
If there's something weird and it don't look good, who you gonna call? ............
I ain't afraid of no ghosts, I ain't afraid of no ghosts.
If you're seeing things running through your head, who can you call? ..............
An invisible man sleeping in your bed, who ya gonna call? ..............
8, 6, and 1 are full of WIN
ReplyTook me a while to figure out #1. Total win!
ReplyI don't see how #13 would have improved the movie. Also, why did Cristina H make half the runners-up?
15 looked more like a Monty Python moment.
Reply#1 is subtle and funny. #3 is really only funny if you remember Batman ('89) and I've made it a personal goal never to see that movie again.
That Batman was good. The funny part of #3 is that BDW had it in his contract that he was to play Two Face in any sequels, and the studios had to pay him a large sum of money to let Tommy Lee Jones take the role in that awful, awful Batman movie.
#12 ain't that funny. A little known fact is that Gandhi during his youth ate meat and for a while ate beef despite his Hindu upbringing.
Reply Hide All See All 4 RepliesHowever because it's little known, not many people know it. So you just kind of kill any humor that was present.
since the point is not that He was a Hindi but that he went on a hunger strike that the "joke" is aimed at. Both of your points are invalid. XD
That and he did go all ultra-pious in the end
You're just saying that to piss all over our fun aren't you?
I have no idea what the joke is in #3. I'm mildly confused because the voter on the right resembles Lando Calrissian.
Reply Hide All See All 4 RepliesBilly Dee Williams (Lando) played Harvey Dent in the 1989 Batman film.
Billy Dee Williams (Lando) also had in his contract that he was to play Harvey Dent and/or Two Face in any sequels, and when they kicked Tim Burton from the third movie a lot else went out too. They ended up paying him his full salary for the third movie in order to buy him out so's they could cast Tommy Lee Jones.
#3 wins in my opinion
Does anyone else wonder if they called him "Two-face" in Star Wars?
