#5 is depressing.
ReplyI know, what so many people were expecting. I mean seriously, love him or hate him he's only a man. It's not like he's really the reincarnation of Abe Lincoln.
Considering how long ago this was made, I wonder how many people would change up their post.
ReplyPercent of commenters who realized the date of the Photoplasty before commenting:
Reply43.1% and dropping...
Jeb was a pretty good governor...also...I doubt the stars and bars would be flying high at a Jeb rally...what with him speaking fluent spanish.
ReplyI, for one, welcome our new robot overlords.
Replyi very much like #4 and #1
ReplyHahaha #5 is much, much funnier now.
ReplyIn what way?
Interesting to see the starry-eyed, Obama-obsessed optimism from 2008 in 2012: #5 couldn't be farther from the truth . . .
ReplyThe economy IS up, d*****t, Iraq is over, and Afghanistan is winding down.
What the f**k is wrong with you people?
Weak humor from people who know nothing about politics as indicated by #5, and 3
ReplyYou mean "weak humor from people in 2008 who knew nothing about the politics of the future"
Ummmm, knowing nothing about politics? What is cazy thinking that yet another Bush would run and take office? Sure, it's not gonna happen (obviously), but at the time it would have been funny.
As for the SAME one, I think it's hilarious because honestly that is the more likely scenario anyway rather than any real change being made.
3 is what the Republicans dream of every night after they see the choice is between Romney and Gingrich...
ReplyAnd before the Ron Paul sockpuppets start up:
No, not in this universe, not now, not ever, deal with it.
This election makes me sick. Gingrich is a radical Christian lunatic. Romney is turning out to not be so awesome after all, but i'd still go for him assuming Paul doesn't take the Republican Nomination. Santorum is also a pathetic child in a man's body. Our country would be invaded by Canada if he were in charge and the people had no balls to just kick him to the curb.
#2 was the greatest robot overlord/historical election pun ever made.
ReplyNumber 1 isn't funny. I'm not offended, it just isn't funny. Actually you know what, I am offended. I am offended by how stupid and unoriginal that f*****g piece of s**t .gif is. Maybe I am wrong but I think there should be a level of clever to these. Let me see if I got the thought process right, "Oh man there's a new photoshop contest. Oh it's for what would happen the day after the election that is apparently this year. Uh think think think OK I GOT IT someone gets elected and this guys all 'I don't care give me a b*****b, bitch. I'm gonna watch Sports Center! Yea, f**k women!"
Reply Hide All See All 3 RepliesI mean, if you're going to be offended, be offended that to some people the person who holds the highest executive office in the nation DOESN'T MATTER.
that is your opinion but I see where you're coming from, so you're probably not a troll.
That's satire, got it? Probably not.
Let's face it we have no good options for '12 election. Severe liberal and ultra conservatives, who knew? #5 is so awesome because none of that happened.
Reply Hide All See All 4 RepliesVote Gary Johnson btw. Look him up.
What do you mean "none of that happened"? Obama IS asking to be reelected, rather than have us - well - change.
Yes, but now, well, the economy is growing and the troops (from iraq) are home. So far things are pretty OK! Four more years! Four more years! and so on and so forth.
And for the record, Obama is about as liberal as Richard Nixon. Their policies are actually comparable.
Oh David...if only you were right.
The Troops still aren't home, the President simply changed the title of the ones operating in Iraq, and the majority of the rest were diverted over to Afghanistan. The economy is as stagnant as it ever has been (recently not talking Great Depression Era) and to boot people are spending any spare cash on gasoline now. I'll agree the President doesn't have an impact on most of this stuff, but I'm unsure about giving him any more time in office.
They've been saying it's improving for three years now, but it's hard to tell. The markets are doing better, but unenploment is still within half a point of where it was in 08, consumer demand is still flagging, and the top headline in the paper today was "New Signs of Global Slowdown" Maybe we are in a recovery, but if so it's a damn slow one.
I, for one...
Reply#5... Holy s**t that was worthless. Obama has done nothing but continue the Bush legacy by extending the war, PATRIOT ACT, and other atrocities.
ReplyI think it was up there to be ironic, where you put up claims so obviously wrong even Obama supporters know they're crap. It'd be like if you did a Bush victory poster in '08 where he was re-elected for a(n illegal) third term because of No Child Left Behind and stability (without us) in Iraq.
Wait, shit... this contest was from 2008. That actually makes #5 WAY funnier than it originally was.
Ron Paul 2012.
Reply Hide All See All 3 RepliesWhoever thumbs-downed this is an idiot. Obama has done nothing but extend the Bush legacy, and is making everything worse. Why should we have 4 more years of Obama? We already had 8 years of the same f*****g thing with Bush. Change my ass.
Maybe, Paramultart, some people don't agree with whatever you say. It may even be possible that you are wrong!
I think that politics might not be the best topic in the comments section.
Wow, number five sure is turning out to be horribly inaccurate and unlikely. Unfortunately (and frighteningly) number four is starting to look like the most likely outcome.
ReplyI was getting ready to post the same thing.
What's with the sudden surge of 12/11/11 comments? I don't remember this being a flashback.
ReplyIt's getting linked to new stuff
Number 1 was good for once. In fact, it was the best.
Replywhat made it even better than the best was that i was getting head while watching sportscenter as i viewed it! true story
I could swear #1 got recycled from an '08 election Photoplasty.
Alright being I'm in high school and this will be my first election, it causes me great pain to read the BS and how ignorant y'all are. Obama had control of congress first 2 years so he could of got stuff done. The economy problems were not started by the republicans but by Clinton's administration and his policies with banks (mortgages and loans). The economy goes up and down on a fairly constant pattern, the past two big recessions being 30-40 yrs apart. Not all the troops are coming home, he has sent more troops into small countries, moved more men away from Iraq into Afghanistan and they still aren't coming home yet.
ReplyJust to be clear, Its called the Community Reinvestment Act, enacted by *cough* Jimmy Carter.
Before someone starts flaming and says it the banks fault, I worked for a mortgage company and we were literally pressured by the credit bureaus and the government to give "loans" to people we knew couldn't pay them back.
I'm sorry Zane, but you lost me at y'all
