why are the N's in #13 backwards?... do people actually write them that why? it bothers me....
ReplyI think we can all agree that the right entry won.
ReplyThank f*****g god I learned #1 on my own. If not, I'd be one of those dumb idiots who think life is gonna be SOOOO easy without a good education
ReplyI'd press a lever like a test rat for #9, it's so true. Why yes, I *have* stitched an eyeglass frame back together when the screw fell out and vanished - both my glasses and other people's. And I have sanded down a splintered kitchen chair with a battery-operated manicure sander designed for artificial nails. I've also reshaped a dental bridge to fit with a different bit on the same manicure sander.
Reply#12 was the only funny one.
Reply7 is soooo true...
Replypeople are sometimes incredibly stupid... there sadly is one in my vicinity but it didnt work when i moved in... in fact it started working the EXACT moment i got my own..
buuut there is this little problem with nr 7 that they couldnt have learned that in school... unless "learn how to use torrents" is on the list as well since 7 is illegal, learned by our very own cracked.
If 5 truly is true then yes i need it... but why exactly?
That pop-up vagina book would be a hit at any party.
Reply#16 reminds me of what our science teacher told us when we were in 8th grade. A few days later, she said we were a phenomenon for how much we talked. Isn't that an oxymoron?
Replylolol 12. and the slutty girls teach the rest of the class number 8 by the time high school is over.
ReplyHow about, "It doesn't matter how good you are at correcting grammar on the internet, if you are a 28 year old obese virgin working at Burger King, you are still a loser" or "IQ tests taken on the internet don't mean anything, sorry but you are NOT actually an unknown genius"
ReplyThere, there, don't be so sad, life will improve.
#6 so true, a sad reality
ReplyI knew I wasn't a princess as a little girl. For God's sake I butchered my Barbies and made fun of my younger brother for having a dollhouse [we had a strange childhood...].
ReplyI'd love to take a MacGyver class. And where was #10 when I had health/sex ed class (I'm sure there would be a companion book to go with "The Vagina" - simply called "The Penis")? Although as a computer technician, I can truly appreciate teaching people #7. Unsecured wifi: it "just works" - until you notice some unexpected charges for big-ticket items on your credit card bill. Some fine Italian leather handbags, or a high-end computer or two. All because you were too lazy to spend 2 minutes configuring a basic WPA2 password to keep someone from snooping on your network. I'd say you have my sympathy, but doing that is so simple and so important nowadays, there's really no excuse not to
ReplyThe one that surprised and disappointed me the most was when I starting to do research as an undergrad and leanred that science seems to be about knowing the right people rather than being a good scientist. Now I am one of the panicky guinea pigs scrambling to get in good with a professor so I can get grad school recommendations.

May the grammar Nazi's of the interwebs spare me.
Hey, none of us will get on a "true" typo.
*Grammar Nazis. No apostrophe.
Wait... isn't this about stuff you -wish- they taught in school? #15 is pretty much most of what school teaches you how to do.
Reply12, 10, 3 and 1 made my day. Some people really need to learn not to bring a knife to a...bra fight.
Reply#16 must have been made by another Childfree person, and it should have won. Surprised it wasn't #1 since it was the image in the preview thumbnail.
ReplyWait... what? You mean I'm NOT a princess?
ReplyI got #16 right away."You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everyone else, and we are all part of the same compost pile." Words of wisdom Tyler.
ReplyIt's not necessarily a Fight Club reference. Durden (or rather, Palahniuk) didn't invent that metaphor. The line wouldn't have had so much punch if he had.
