I'd buy #6, insist we meet in person then punch him in the face!
ReplyI've (only) bought 21 items through ebay, even from Hong Kong sellers.. Haven't had a problem as of yet, fortunately.
ReplyFail for number one. Sim card's are not used to make calls.
ReplyIf a person is a buyer on eBay they have many levels of protections from scammers. Sellers, though, have near zero protection. I've sold about 200 items on eBay and twice buyers have tried to scam me by saying they never received their item. Had they been smart and waited a month or more to make their claim they probably would've gotten away with it and ripped me off. Instead, they waited a week to make a claim so I just sent them a piece of cardboard with a tracking number and made it seem like that was the original package. Both would-be scammers hdropped their respective case. I love outsmarting scammers. As for this Photoplasty, they were all painfully funny.
ReplyAlways, ALWAYS Delivery Confirmation.
>Find something bad-ass on eBay
Reply>Look at the item's location
>"Hong Kong, China"
>LOL f**k THAT SHIT.
I sell a stolen cursed monkey paw that have been in my ass, and I will never send it to you! (PayPal preferred).
Replynumber one is too small to read
ReplyBuy the paw. Wish for omnipotence.
ReplyNow your erection will never go away! Yay! ^^
Nnoitra FTW
I'd buy the monkey paw, but I'd probably end up with a dry turkey sandwich.
ReplyHuh...#1 was the only one I didn't laugh at. Oh wait, they always save the worst for last. Great list ^_^
ReplyI Think jpr11011 sounds too good to be true or, in other words, a SCAM!!
ReplyMaybe I missed something, but I don't get #1. Also kind of a problem that it's too small to read...or is it just me?
ReplyIt's STOLEN!!~!!~!!
I really liked number 4, I hate those super expensive Monster cables, that don't work any better then 2 dollar cables you can get online.
ReplyI was just scammed on eBay, so topical for me! I am doing a fundraiser at my school's major annual fundraising day to benefit a charity working with Kenyan children, and I am selling jewelry to fellow classmates. One eBay user CLAIMED to have 50 pieces of Claire's, H&M, Forever 21, and Hot Topic pieces. She was lying and the pics of the lot were fake. I got frumpy, old jewelry instead. I've used over half my budget (which is my own personal $$) and the event is in 2 weeks. Scrambling here, would not turn to eBay for these things again!
ReplyCaptain Hindsight here:
You should've used Tineye to see if the picture had been used somewhere else.
If anyone makes a claim like that, call bullshit on it, and forget about it.
Also, eBay Buyer protection. Look into it.
I like to think that the reviews on #5 are for #8. Also, I would buy the monkey's paw, too. What's the worst that could happen?

Gariandos, you have won the internet. Congratulations.
The wish for a yacht of strippers
Ends up it is a wood yacht full of wood strippers in the middle of the ocean.
It sinks
@ken27. no, good sir. instant syphillis.
Although (technically) eBay cannot sell body parts, the monkey paw allusion was genius.
ReplyNot true, do a search for taxidermied (I know, not a word. It is on ebay though) anything. Not Human body parts, but animal ones for sure... Oh, and you can find a monkeys paw... lookalike
I'd still go with the monkey's paw dammit!
ReplyWonder how many bidders have been arrested by accident for bidding on #1?
ReplyTo whoever does win the monkey's paw, you can still get one or two good wishes. Just make your first wish "I Wish to know in advance the full consequences of whatever future wishes I make, and to be prohibited from making any wish that I or those whom I care about might come to regret."
ReplyThat's squeezing in an extra wish there, mister. Two catastrophic, life-changing wishes for the price of one!
The paw always wins.
Can't stop laughing at the candlesticks!
