ReplyActually all my children are home schooled using the internet. Apparently, from the test results so far, they are a year ahead of public school children, and about a quarter ahead of charter kids. They also have a group of internet homeshoolers they get together with and play interactive sports such as basketball, and the public school system won't let them play against tehm because their team is more integrated. I would saeriously say the interent is a way we should see a large portion of the piublic school system go, considering the current one is so defunct the children are being forced to advance without having the prior year's knowledge yet!

Well, at least in the current school system, they teach us to spell.
Sounds like someone needs to go back to grade school, You know they have spell check for those hard to spell words, like "them" and "public."
"They get together with and play interactive sports" - How is that not a red flag for anyone? Especially as a parent?

ReplyGod I HATED those fill-in-the-blank book report sheets. Here's how you do them:
Reply1. Google static information (setting, plot, etc)
2. Flip to a random page
3. Fill in nonstatic information (What you like best, new vocabulary)
They weren't that big a deal, but were easy as hell to procrastinate. TOO easy. I'd forget I had to do the damn things.
