It has happened seven times. Seven times! I thought it was weird, at first-- like a recurring dream, but in real life. I thought, how can this be happening to me, and so many times, to boot? What quirk of fate, or bizarre destiny could possibly have chosen me to experience such an event, not once but seven times?

I sometimes think there will never be an answer. I may never know the truth. There are times, though, when I feel I can glean a pattern, like there is some specific guiding force behind my life.

"Yes, I will have fries with that."
