I'm mixed race (Russian and NDN) and a convert to Islam. (I'm also gay, which causes problems with all of those demographics.) I live in Connecticut (the impoverished working class part).

I'm interested in the cinema and I do some grip work when I can get it. (Connecticut's spent the last few years trying to build a film industry in the state, having gotten jealous at all the TV and movies filmed in either Boston or New York.) I love it. Eventually, I hope to get paid.

Before that I was actually a sex worker for a while, so if I tell anecdotes about either profession, try not to get them confused.
