About Me

I am an expert on Humility. And I will inform you now that the reason Humility seems so hard is because it gets confused with 'meekness'. Humility is not about how you portray yourself, its all about how you treat others. And to be honest I've found its the most proud and boastful sons of bitches that seem to treat others with the most genuine humility.

To be humble the absolute key is to never simply disregard the opinions and abilities of others. Even if you are a genius, the genius who listens to the words of an idiot then instead of just saying "No, thats stupid" but instead takes the time to try and explain it to the idiot so he can understand it. And does this 'every time' even if time constraints require the explanation to occur later, that is one evidence of Humility.

And in this you learn that to be humble one must be longsuffering.

Humility is being able to look beyond your own perceived superiority to see the strengths of others. To see that just because you may be the best, doesn't mean there is any shame in being second. The pride should come from the hard work and dedication one brings to the aspect of life. Nothing else.

In this you see Humility is good sportsmanship. That you can say "I AM GREAT!' and be humble as long as you never say 'I AM GREATER THEN YOU!' in word or in deed. In fact the truly humble are more likely to say 'WE ARE GREAT!" though this is not a requirement.

When you meet a great but humble man, you leave him feeling inspired and uplifted not inferior and worthless. And that is key.

Arrogance brings others down so you may stand above them.

Humility brings others up so you may stand among them.

Meekness brings yourself down. And Meekness without Humility brings everyone else down with you.
