About Me

Every time I see a website with an "About me" section it reminds me of the countless times in movies when two otherwise untrusting and cautious individuals open up to one another, and as soon as one gets finished pouring out his heart to the other he or she says, "So what about you?"
And then, since the other person has broken down the character in question now sees they're in a position to trump the other character by not following their example and rather than saying something heartfelt and touching they just respond by saying. "What about me?"
I can't think of any real example where it's happened in a movie but I know it has, I just can't remember where. I'm thinking maybe the breakfast club but who the hell really knows?
I'm assuming though it happens mostly in movies where two people are in jail.

Man A: I'm here because I got home and caught my wife in the middle of a cluttered living room holding a piece of dental floss attached to the trigger of a gun which she had set up on the mantle of the fire place. I guess she'd been fucking my brother and couldn't live with the guilt, but I guess after I had taken a piss that morning I was in such a rush to get to work that I didn't flush or put the toilet seat back down, So her final act on the earth would be framing me for murdering her upon finding out that she'd been fucking my brother.

Man B: That's tough shit man.

Man A: (begins crying) and the worst part is, she put so much thought into it. She covered every angle so she could frame me flawlessly and send me to jail. She even put down the toilet seat and flushed my piss away.

Man B: Damn I didn't know. I'm sorry.

Man A: So, what about you?

Man B: (Raises Eyebrow) What ABOUT me?

Perfect example. And that's how these questions make me feel.
