I used to work at a copywriting firm, but I quit. So now I say I am a freelance writer. It seems to impress people. Though really anyone could say they do freelance anything, because all it means is you are offering your services on a contractual or short-term basis. Doesn't technically mean people are actually hiring you to perform the services you offer.
So I am also a part-time freelance ice cream truck driver, daydream believer, and backup dancer for Yo-yo Ma. And a contributor to Cracked.com. See, by writing this About Me profile I just generated content and possibly even increased their SEO optimization for keywords "freelance ice cream truck driver" and "backup dancer" +"Yo-Yo Ma". Therefore I have "contributed" to Cracked. Time to go update my CV.
Aside from padding my cocktail party resume, I spend my time as a spoiled housewife with a dog and about 800 books, 189 of them on my nook alone, another 70 something on my Kindle for iPad. Is hyper literacy unhealthy?
