Electric Light Orchestra is a band specializing in electronic rock and symphonic sound.
On July 12, 1970. ELO recorded their first song "10538 Overture". It was a part of their first album in both the US and Britain titled The Electric Light Orchestra.
If you stare at it long enough, it sort of looks like a face.
Unlike the Orchestra's other albums, this one has no beeps or clicks or hidden messages for the secret robot armies of the far future. This one actually sounds more like a real orchestra. Yep, thats right, a real live orchestra with violins and cellos and all other boring non-electrical instruments. After this, the band released ELO II and On The Third Day. ELO II had only five songs but was a good step towards developing the iconic sound of the band. On The Third Day was even better, and also contains the greatest version of "In the Hall of the Mountain King" you will ever hear. Ever.
It's like this, but even greater than you think.
