Firefighting As a Job.

Working two days a week, sleeping at the Station, driving Trucks with lights and sirens, saving peoples lives and putting out fires..... I can't think of a better job. So how do people get to become firefighters?

Decide that working for little pay and long hard hours is good. Having to work in a uniform is good, but not being a dick like a cop is a prerequisite. If you are scared of fire but fulfill the above requirements - become an EMT.
