Doc Brown first tested his time machine on his own dog and was visibly surprised when it actually survived. Other highlights include nearly running himself over by remote control, using a date-rape machine on Marty's girlfriend and accidentally creating an entire dimension of hell.
This is why he was controversially cast as Commander Kruge in Star Trek 3. While most were baffled at the choice of a comedic actor, director Leonard Nimoy recognized an actor who could portray destroying an entire world without giving a rat's ass.
Cracked Talk on | Back to the Future
Aw man I wish I could edit this page and answer everything and give this movie the honor it deserves.
Ditto.
Lots of things about this movie are confusing. Like Future Biff. He goes back in time and gives himself the alamanac which causes himself not to exist as he is in the future. Which causes him to dissapear (as seen in a deleted scene). So if he didn't exist in the future, how could he of gone back in time to give himself the almanac and make himself not exist?
If they really liked the name Marty so much, they would have chosen that name for their first kid, Dave. Would have been a funny joke if Marty's name was actually Dave, and Dave's Marty. If you really want to get technical, his parents would have inevitably been in a different situation when he was conceived, along with the other two siblings. Yet they all look the same, born in the exact same order. And if George really were more successful, why would he be living in the same house as before?
And who is to say that Marty as a rock star would necessarily be any better. Rock stars are known for the chaotic lifestyle.
Also, for all of this talk about changing the past, the Doc brought two lives into the world that never would have existed before. And they would consequently bring more people into the world. What if one of these kids/relatives was a murderer or something?
