If i had photoshop this picture could be hillarious.

When we read about this and it said

Just The Facts

  1. Never tried drugs or alcohal due to his religion
  2. Has 5 kids that we know of with 3 different wives
  3. Ruined Hip-hop and turned it into the whinny crapfest we have today
  4. Had 23 Billboard Hot 100 songs, which proves people will listen to whatever you tell them is "Hot"

Legal issues

Akon alleged stated he spent 5 years incarcerated for his part in a auto theft ring. "the smoking Gun" challenged Akon's story and looked up court documents and interviews with detectives involved in Akon's case. According to "the Smoking Gun's" article, Akon was not convicted of a single crime and did not serve any time in prison from 1999 to 2002 as previously claimed. Akon responded by saying he never spent 3 years consecutively, but spent many shorter sentences that add up to three years. Just goes to show it's ok if you lie about your past as long as it makes you millions of dollars.

More legal issues

During a concert at the Duchess Stadium in Fishkill, New York, a kid threw an object towards Akon as he was performing. Akon asked the crowd to point out who did it and to bring him on stage. His security guards grabbed the guy and brought him up. Akon then grabbed the kid, hoisted him on his shoulders and threw him back into the crowd. Akon has since came out and said it was staged and he was going to use the act to set up for his next record. He was still charged for endearing the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment. Akon should retire from the stage and get into the ring. I'd like to see him do that to Hulk Hogan.

More, more legal issues

In 2007, Akon was having a racy dance with a preacher's daughter. Turns out the girl was only 15 at the time. The video was filmed by Akon's crew and later uploaded it onto the internet. It caused an outrage with his sponsors, including Verizon, who removed ringtones featuring Akon and dropping sponsorship The Sweet Escape Tour. Since you can't fool us twice we believe he did it on purpose to try and get a hit single featuring R. Kelly about the troubles of younger women.

Diamond mines

Akon owns a diamond mine in South Africa and denies the existence of conflict diamonds. He says, "I don't even believe in conflict diamonds. That's just a movie. Think about it. Ain't nobody thought about nothing about no conflict diamonds until the movie came out." Yeah whatever you have to tell yourself to sleep at night. If only this arguement would hold up anywhere other than our own minds, Akon wouldn't exist either.
