The Boondock Saints is the best movie ever made. End of story.
The story centers around the MacManus brothers and their quest to rid the world of evil. Incidentally, they decide to start in Boston because as we all know Boston is the root of all the evil in the world. The movie is set up as the cops trying to decide what happened, led by Willem Dafoe in one of his best roles, and then a flashback to how the MacManus brothers killed the criminals. The movie was written and directed by Troy Duffy and stars his real-life buddies Sean Patrick Flannery and Norman Reedus as the titular characters. David Della Rocco and Billy Connolly fill out the rest of the crew and the one real guy from Fraggle Rock plays Doc the bartender.
All Your Base Are Belong to Us
These two go around killing criminals on a mission from God to rid the world of evil. In arguably one of the best ways possible to commit murder, they base everything they do on action movies and kill people who just fall into their lap. The people they kill include Russian mafia and Italian crime bosses. Apparently, only the Russians and Italians are evil to the Irish people, even though Britain is the one to have screwed them over centuries past.
Seriously, who is scared of the guy in the middle when the others have the guns
David Della Rocco plays "Rocco" a goofy runner for the Italian mafia, and after they try to kill him by sending him to the Russians to kill "2 Guys" when there is actually 9, he turns to the Saints and helps kill off Italian mobsters. Rocco has one of the funniest scenes in the movie when he shoots his girlfriends cat.
You know what they say: People in glass houses sink sh-sh-ships.
He left me his c-c-c... He left me his c-c-c... Oh, he fucking gave me this. Fuck! Ass!
Why don't you make like a tree, and get the fuck outta here?
Doc has Tourette's Syndrome and he has a major problem keeping his proverbs in the right order. As a result he curses in front of nuns in a hospital (the second quote) and is the butt of some jokes from the MacManus brothers.
Willem Dafoe plays Paul Smecker, the one gay guy you ever see bashing other gay guys. He is the best at his job of finding criminals, and he also shows why the average police detective sucks at their job.
One ugly woman, unless your Italian and in this movie
