Ah, yes, delicious anime! The cartoons where women with callosal, shiny breasts wear seemingly comfortable skimpy clothing and do as many jumps as possible during action scenes.

Just The Facts

  1. Anime was created by Japan. Therefore, Japanese girls are the only ones who can really pull it off.
  2. Most Americans look horrible as anime characters
  3. Japanimation is the term most English-speakers use

What is Anime?

Anime is Japan's version of cartoon shows. Unlike American favorites like Winnie-the-Pooh, Yogi Bear, The Simpsons and Family Guy, anime contains more fantasy and wildly intense scenarios. Animes have women (mostly) with bodies similar to Amazons than Japanese.

Amazonian Woman

Besides varietized hair color and styles, anime characters are popularly known for their eyes. Yes, there is a certain allure to those huge, long lashed pink, blue, purple, green, blue, yellow, infected red, and eerily black eyeballs, isn't there? The fact that there is a fantastical anime character for all those fat men sitting in his mother's basement isn't too bad either.

What is Manga?

Manga are comics and printed cartoons. Manga was popular among people during World War II and has continued to remain a hot item even to his day.

The concept that Americans seem to adore about manga is that it is read opposite of how everyone in the United States normally reads. Yes, I'll explain. That means that instead of reading boring Twilight books left to right, more interesting comics like Bleach are read right to left. Sticking with me? Good.

So, the next time you're not feeling the newest book release, why not try heading down to your nearest anime convention and picking up a few manga freebies?

What is Cosplay?

The combination of "costume play", cosplay has become a popular phenomenon for everyone of the World. Fat, skinny, ugly, pretty and all other types of people join together at anime conventions with their own versions of favored anime characters. The only problem is a lot of people suck at it.

So now you basically get the gist of the whole cosplay concept. Cosplay takes a lot of work, determination and money to get the best look possible. There are those who can pull off the make believe characters really well and those who are finally finding an "appropriate" outlet to play out their crossdressing fantasy.
