Cracked on Lil Wayne
Although we can't fully understand what he is saying most of the time, we are able to enjoy his music due to his thorough usage of pop and cultural icons that we readily recognize and thus can relate to.

We also enjoy his music due to his ability to sexualize things that we would've never thought to. For that, we salute Mr. Carter.

- Rodney King
Other Endeavors
Lil Wayne has found other ventures to make his likeableness more accessible. Aside from being a regular blogger for ESPN MAGAZINE, he has also gone toe-to-toe with some the network’s season veterans (Michael Smith, Jay Mariotti, Woody Paige, et al.) on ESPN’s version of the O’Reilly Factor, Pardon the Interruption (he won, too).
He would next appear in an interview with Katie Couric in a segment shown during the Grammy Awards, in which the self-proclaimed Pussy Monster’s more sensitive side was on display.
Lil Wayne also brought his comedic repertoire to the Tonight Show, adding some much needed wackiness to another mundane Top Ten list.
Wayne was last seen reaching out to the desperate housewife demographic when he appeared on The View to put his softer side on display once more.

This is my first comment on Cracked. I've been on it non-stop for like a 2 months and finally decided to make an account. Anyways, Lil' Wayne doesn't make real music, he's a sell out, him, Soulja Boy, 50 Cent, etc. have ruined the game.
Replyso. true.
How expected, you misspelled "Grammy's"
ReplyLil Wayne and all others like him have ruined the awards show, because they are awarded for achievements in what they consider "music"
Um, no, they actually spelled it correctly. You don't use an apostrophe if you want to make something plural, only possessive or a contraction. So, really we should be saying, "How expected, some grammar geek on the internet actually knows very little of how words work."
