Larry King
Just The Facts
- Larry King is one of the most successful television hosts of all time, with over over 40,000 interviews under his belt.
- In polite circles, his interview method is referred to as
- In more honest circles it is referred to as
Larry King is a Professional
If your testicle clamp is in the shop for repairs or if you are fresh out of tin foil to chew, you might want to consider watching Larry King interview someone. Without fail, you will hear Larry King ask a question his guest has already answered. But don’t let that bother you. He only gets paid millions of dollars every year solely for asking questions. If CNN wanted Larry to listen to the answers too, they should have put that in the contract. And while they’re at it, they might want to add a clause advising that no one really needs to hear Larry deliver an anecdote about the late great Georgie Jessel or that old antacid commercial from the 70s, especially during an interview on global warming.

What kind of flowchart is that? There's only one possible choice.
ReplyThumbs up. good topic.
Replysurprised the didn't write anything about the intern incident
ReplyI remember after all the Chris Benoit stuff happened, Larry King was interviewing a bunch of different wrestlers at a bunch of different times...and MAN, it was weeeeeird. He asked EVERYone if they'd seen the body. Not one person passed through that interview without Larry King asking them point blanke: "Have YOU seen Chris Benoit's body?!"
ReplySurprised not to hear anything about Larry's infamous and regular flatulence problem. Former grips joke about the fan under his desk all the time

ReplyThis was definately not dongtacular.
ReplyAlso, if Bonegina doesn't reply to me and repeat why this isn't a flowchart I'll be disappointed.
Oh sorry to keep you waiting. Hopefully, unlike this article, I do not disappoint you. ZING!
Ok, the simplest reason why this is not a flow chart is because the YES and NO should be on the flow line, not on the decision symbol.
Or if you decide to throw logic to the wind and put the YES and NO in its own box and not on the line, the next decision box should be accessible ONLY after first passing thru a YES or NO box. On the chart above, the decision has three flow lines coming from it:
one goes to YES,
one goes to NO,
and the third one bypasses the two and goes straight to the next decision.
And there's the issue of each flow line following YES or NO going straight to PROCEED TO INTERVIEW, but could possibly have been intentional.
You do not disappoint. I agree. You are wise
Article was crap, but the user comments made it all worth it.
Replyagreed.
Hey, maybe that was his plan all along!
Gladstone, you sly fox!
I don't get it, 95% of Web 2.0 comments are, "I used to think (source of entertainment) was funny, but now its not and my life sucks. Change or else my life will suck." Stupid anonymity and its making people feel safe to be stupid.
ReplyHow DO you make a diamond in MS paint anyway? No one gets my flow charts either. :(
ReplyStupid. The flowchart should read:
ReplyPrepared for Interview? --> NO --> Proceed to Interview --> Piss off Seinfeld
Once again... I made the mistake of reading 2 Cracked Topics articles in a row and now I feel like there is no joy in the world..... GET RID OF CRACKED TOPICS!!!!
Replyand options 2 and 3 aren't complete thoughts
Replythat's not even a real flowchart
This article is a phony!
At first I thought the fact that it was a badly designed flow chart was somehow a comment on Larry or his interview method. But then I read your comment Gladstone and realized you really didn't know what you were doing.
ReplyAnd you're right. It's not really a big deal, but I can't help feeling a little disappointed in it. And putting down the people who didn't find you're unfunny article not funny, is a pretty weak response.
WOW....I just read this on a hot forum on tall dating site ____Tallmingle.com____ which is a hot dating site for all tall friends and tall singles.
Replymany hot pictures are shown on “interracialloving.com”...so many fans show interest on him there, It is nice to enjoy more about it .
ReplyI liked this.
Reply Hide All See All 3 RepliesI did too. And if the people complaining that "it isn't a flowchart" stopped being pedants and took Gladstone's explanation of how the chart is supposed to work, they might!
Oh my bad! I assumed that his flowchart was supposed to work like a flowchart, not a list of "humorous" anecdotes flanked by "yes" and "no", with cheap clipart arrows connecting them. If you need further explanation as to why this is not a flowchart, I'll go into more detail.
Even if this was laid out properly, since "yes" and "no" both lead to "proceed to interview", Gladstone is essentially saying "this humorous anecdote may or may not be true about him".
I am not usually one to complain when something isn't funny -- I've seen the White Ninja comics -- but this article wasted more of my life than WN ever has.
I'm sure Bonegina could do a whole lot better herself.
Everyone knows bitching on the internet is a clear sign of supreme intelligence, after all.
There is a misunderstanding as to how flowcharts are supposed to run [the question branches off into "yes" or "no", it doesn't branch off into the next question].
Reply Hide All See All 3 RepliesAlso, there is a misunderstanding as to what belongs on this website [funny stuff].
Also, how did this get 57 diggs? If my theory is correct, Gladstone spent more time digging this article than he did writing it.
You're funny, and right.
Thanks chico. You're probably very funny yourself.
The best bit about this article is that at the time of publishing, Gladstone was fired out of a cannon into a net made of razor wire.
ReplyWhat? That didn't happen? AAWWW!!!
That sucked. This sucks. I need some blow. Excuse me.
