  2. Cartman is one of the most popular characters on the show, and has remained one of the most recognizable television characters ever since South Park became a hit during its first season.
  3. Parker and Stone have compared the relationship of Cartman and Kyle to the one shared by Archie Bunker and Michael Stivic on the 1970s sitcom All in the Family.

What more can be said of Cartman than he is the absolute highlight of South Park. He is the reason I tune in week after week and I live in Canada so I get to watch it in all its uncensored glory. Yes that right in Canada we have swearing on TV! Just like in the South Park movie. Now back to the reason we are here to celebrate the glory that is Eric Theodore Cartman.

The Cult of Cartman

On October 20, 2008 a best of Cartman set was released entitled South Park: The Cult of Cartman - Revelations. This 2-disc set included 12 episodes of Cartman at his worse which is also when he is at his best. The episodes were:

Each episode featured a mini commentary from Cartman before the start explaining why it was included in the collection and what lessons can be learned. These lessons include to retaliate on your enimies 1000 fold from "Scott Tenorman must Die", as well as why you shouldn't fake being handicapped to win the special olympics. The lessons also include Cartman telling us were all going to die in 2012.
