Bob Saget
Bob Saget began his career as a stand-up comedian, and snickered all the way to the bank after landing roles on Full House and America's Funniest Home Videos. He should be ashamed, but probably isn't.
Just The Facts
- Despite what you think you know, Bob Saget is actually pretty funny.
- No, seriously.
- For some inexplicable reason, he is the (uncredited) narrator on "How I Met Your Mother." His past sins notwithstanding, he deserves better.
Sad but true

Probably still funnier than the funniest thing YOU ever said.
Bob Saget. What can be said?
This poor bastard. In spite of being a fairly talented stand-up comic, and having a genuinely funny sense of humor, the gods felt it necessary to banish him to two separate levels of hell at the same time. Full House is unanimously panned as one of the most banal, insipid sitcoms the '80's ever inflicted on us, and America's Funniest Home Videos gave every sadistic asshole in the country a reason to start carrying a video camera.
On second thought...eat a bag of soggy dicks, Bob Saget.
Ultimately...

"Thanks for watching, dumbasses."

Bob Saget is a big perv.I'm sure he's unsuccessfully tried to arrange a 3-way with the Olsen twins.
ReplyYeah Bob Saget isn't funny, in fact using his name can be funnier than his jokes. My friend and I use his name as a curse word all the time (like bob saget! in replace of god damn it!), he is especially fond of saying bob f*****g saget.
ReplyEven better is once in highschool one of my teachers was making a point about not swearing and when asked what words could be used instead I said "...ummm...bob saget?" and the class instantly just laughed histerically for like 5 minutes.
Point is that his name used in the right context can be funnier than he is. "go eat a bag of soggy dicks" and go sag yourself
So you're essentially stealing the joke from that tourettes guy.
Bob Saget is funny. Full house really got Bob and the Olsen twins well known.
ReplyHe also directed "Dirty Work", one of the most underratedly funny movies ever.
Replyif Full House had been made a decade earlier, it MIGHT have been an okay show -- but with the advent of Married with Children and Roseanne, there was no place for that cutesy-crap on prime-time television
ReplyExactly. It was a 1988 show, created by 1983 standards. All that was missing was a sassy black neighbor.
Really...why the hell not? : )
