Just The Facts

  1. In Britain, a faggot is a bundle of sticks.
  2. Also in Britain, 'faggots' are a type of meat ball.
  3. ALSO in Britain, shortening it to 'fag' means 'cigarette.'
  4. We think only the British use the word, and evidently for many different things.

The Word

Faggot is a word common in Britain for the things mentioned above, bundles of sticks and meat balls. Now, how one word can have something to do with both sticks and balls, we haven't the foggiest idea. But the British people are kind of strange, so there you have it.

My favorite pasta, spaghetti and faggots.

Also, they can shorten it and say 'fag,' which is sometimes used to mean cigarette. So you can easily walk into a pub in Britain and say, "Hey, can I smoke a fag?" and they won't have a problem with it. I tried this in a bar in Mississippi, and woke up in the hospital the next day, beaten to a pulp. I guess it was a non-smoking bar.

This man is fighting Big Tobacco.

Many Christians are non-smoking people, so they have protests against fags, trying to make it so no restaurant can have smoking sections. In fact, we found this really great music video on youtube made by a homosexual who is having trouble accepting that he is a nonsmoker, and is asking God to help him.

Some guy told us there was a very famous movie about fags.

It turned out, these guys were homosexuals.

It had two cowboys in it, and was about cigarettes, so we guess one of them was supposed to be the Marlboro man? I dunno, maybe we misunderstood him.

Fag also means to "tire out, or become exhausted," according to the handy Microsoft Word dictionary. So, for instance, if you're doing a Richard Simmons cardio video, and you become tired, it's 100% totally acceptable to describe how fagged you are after doing the workout. But it can also be used as an action verb, as in "Richard Simmons really fagged me this morning."

He'll fag you so good, you'll be sore the next day.
