Europe

After WWI, the German people where dis-honored, poor, and mad. They wanted a leader, a person who could lead Germany to be great. A beaten and bloodied Germany would stand up and rise once more. And from the ashes steped a young german boy and his party, the National Socialist German worker's party, otherwise known as Adof Hitler and the Nazis. A WWI veteran, Hitler was discrased of Germanys Loss. Hitler blamed minoritys as the cause of Germanys defeat at the hands of the Allied Forces. Mainly the Jews, claming they where backstabbers, spies, and trators. Among the others that the blame fell upon where the Polish, Gay, Blacks, and Gypsies. Hitler preached thease words, and before long, became leader of the Nazis. after a political rally, Hitler was arested and found guilty. He spent the next 6 years in jail, and wrote a book entitled "Mein Kamph" or "My Struggle" in English. When the next election came, The Nazis ran, and won. Adof Hitler took controle of Germany, and promised that everything would change.And it did. Under the command of the Nazis and Hitler, Germany secrataly built up their military force, and created some of the most dangerous machines of war in the 20th century (so much so that the MG-42 is still in use by 4 militarys today). When the time came to unleash their storm on the world, Hitler eyed poland, and unleashed the blitzkerig of "lightning warfare". WWII had started.

Asia

The pacific ocean, 1938. As the US begings to expand its power into the pacific, As dose Japan. Japan launches atacks on the much larger (and at the time, ritcher) China. Japan also begins taking land around the main islands that make up the Imperialistic nation. When the US took the philippines, Japan got pissed somthing royal. In 1939-1940 (year is disputed WHEN they conciderd it an "battle") Japan attacked with a force of some 100,000 men, vs the puny American garrason of only 25,000 men. now, the Garrason of US soldiers was well trained, yes, but sadly, their guns where WWI- 1930s US army issue guns. mostly bolt action, and the M1 grand made up infantry. some 100 tanks where also on the island. This, however, didnt stop the Americans from fighting their asses off. Around 17,000 men died, 7,200 where captured, and 800 MIA. This, however, didnt start the war in the pacific. America simpaly asked its allies to stop sending oil to Japan. Some 90% of Japans oil was lost. As Japan expanded, as did emperor hirohitos mind. He planed a secret assualt on the American navy in pearl harbor. On December 7th, 1941, Around 48 Japanise type Zero fighters escorted over 400 bombers and atacked the United States Navy as it was at dock in pearl harbor. This caused America to declare war on Japan. Because Germany and Itialy where allies with Japan, They also declared war on the US. France and Brittan had also declared war on germany. The United States had entered WWII.

WWII was one of the bloodiest wars in human history. some 42 million soldiers gave their lives, and countless civilians died in the conflict. The war was called the second world war from 1939- 1945, however their where wars with germany and Russia, one of Germanys' allies, from as early as 1937. After the US entered the war in 1941, The allies (UK, US, Canada, and Australia and later on some 59 other countrys) adopted a "beat hitler first" policy. The goal was to stop one of the most impresive military forces of the time. Their soldiers where superior, therir weapons, masterful, and their stratagies, mad. However, the US and UK had numbers on german and Itialian forces. the US alone had 16.1 million troops in WWII, and the british 5.9 million. In all, the war cost the allied forces (of the 63 countrys) 63.2 million. germany lost 40.8 million out of the countless men deployed into combat.. the allies had more men, and, thus, more cashualties. The war in Europe started in 1939, and ended in 1945.

The Eastern Front

Hitler hated the Russians. He viewed them as sub-humans that should be wiped off the face of the planet. However, he and Stalan made a pact. They where to remain allies through the war. they also planed to divide up parts of Eastern Europe after they had finished their "territorial expanshion". In June of 1941, that plan had changed. Hitler launched operation Barbossa, germanys code name for the invashion of the USSR. Ther german military was going to fight the worlds second greatest army on their homefront, and they did. For 2 blood soaked years the german army bombarded Russia and launched a massive ground assualt. Their goal was to reach Moscow Before the Russian winter began. Hitler once more unleashed the blitzkreig on the world. The Red Army was a crude, brutal force of men and woman whos devotion to the motherland was nearly that of Japans people. The Russians weaponary was simpal, brutal, and crude. What they lacked in skill, they made up for in power and devotion. The germans lacked in manpower, but made up for it in skill and tech. The German army cut through Russia like a hot knife through butter. When the Russians fought back, the Germans slowed. One key factur in this is the tanks. The Germans had tanks that by modern standers are passable for several countrys. The Panzer and tiger are the two most known. The Tiger, with its impressive 88mm Cannon, could do insane devastation to tanks at over 16 miles. The Russians had noting more than the crude T-34. The T-34 was a crude, ugly tank. But, it could be produced in mass numbers quickly. With its 76mm gun, it was not powerful, but it was deadly in numbers. The T-34 could also be used as a kamakazi tank. when out of rounds, Russian tanks where simpaly plowed into a German tank. By the time Germany reached lennengrad, the winter had come. The feared Russian winter caused starvation, equipment failer, and freazing. This is when Germany ran into a traffic stop and the officers name was ivan. The Russians where use to the -30 degree weather, but the germans where not. To the reds, it was just another winter. To the Krauts, it was the closest thing to if hell had frozen over that many of them would ever see. The reds knew what to expect, the germans didnt. it could go from sun to snow in a second. the ground became muddy, and tanks stalled, soldiers got stuck, and the forward advance slowed. After 2 years, russia pushed germany out of the motherland
