Dave didn't  mention it, but try to submit interesting, out of the ordinary or just odd news rather than the purposefully silly "it takes all kinds" ones. When the story is intended to be amusing on its own, there's not much we can do with it.

Unless the picture is hilarious or it's about fat people, in which case it writes itself.
