Turntable Slave... in America!

I'm currently on my second semester in law school and had to take English classes, in which we need to update a blog weekly with entries of between 200 and 250 words (among other, boring stuff). Since only the grammar and not the actual content is examined, I got bored of posting actual serious responses to the questions the teacher gave us, and since I don't really want the teacher to be the only person ever to read this I thought I could post a link here.

Here's the link to my blog (there's currently five entries) and here's the link to the teacher's blog, where you can see what the original topic was. I got bored around update number three, and from there on you can join me as this slowly descents into madness. I'll try to push the boundaries as far as I can (I know it sounds like I'm trying to be a hip kid or something but the teacher already doesn't give a crap about my particular blog since she knows my level of english is much more advanced than the basic stuff we see in class so I thought I could have a little fun).

This is no great exercise in writing, I know that, but I took enough liberties as to make criticism possible. So if anyone has anything to say, please do so.

Well, I like the idea of taking a professor's assignments out of context and you do have some humor there.  Plus, it's totally something I would do (for my public speaking course I did a presentation on why you needed a plan in case of a zombie invasion).  But, seriously, saying that you "may be actually drunk" and that the pope statue will be "looking down... every time (you) try to cheat during an exam" just isn't the right way to go about it.  Isn't that, like, Fifth Amendmentable right there?  That can raise some red flags with a professor.

But, hell, it will be good practice for your lawyering when you have to explain that you didn't cheat on that exam you showed up late for because you confused "gin and tonic" with "study session."  You know, with the circumstantial evidence against you.

Looking forward to more entries, though.
