The thing about the furry fandom is that its such a broad umbrella- there's an anthropomorphic animal in every form of media there is, from books to breakfast cereals, so there's room from pretty much every single fanbase under the sun and thus more room for the real weirdos. It's like the difference between a Star Trek fan and a Sci-Fi fan- the more generalized fandom is going to be bigger.

Being a furry myself and fully aware of the weirdness within the fandom, this doesn't surprise me. Its actually a pretty tame find compared to some of the other shit I've seen.

Anyways I just wanted to point out that my karma has gone from a plus 5 or 6, to a negative 10 since I've stated I was a furry. xD

Not that I really care about it.  I just find it interesting.  I wonder if that's 15 people, or if I had gotten any applause in the middle of it, making the number that dislike me higher.
