So I am going to do a clean install of windows 7, but I don't want to have to redo all of my firefox settings (bookmarks, browser customization, passwords). How can I back everything up so when I put firefox on the new OS it is exactly the same as it is now?

Click Bookmarks, Organise Bookmarks, and import and backup.

The others I am hazy on.

Alternatively you can use the Xmarks plugin to backup your bookmarks online.

To backup your settings and such, you want to read this to learn how to back up your profile.

Also, make a list of all your extensions to download later.
