Because of that pressure, Color of Change announced today that Walmart, a key bank with GMAC Financial Services, Best Buy, CVS, Travelocity, Re-Bath, Broadview Security and Allergan have all backed out, bringing the list of former Glenn Beck advertisers to Twenty.

Maybe it's because of the Anonymous v. Scientology ruckus awhile ago but online activism makes me slightly ill at ease.  Or maybe it's that I tend to cut towards the center on most issues, and now that I think about it, activism as a whole makes me a little uncomfortable.  However: Glenn Beck.  Fuck that guy.

I don't think you can give Color of Change all the credit for this.

The outrage stems from Glenn Beck calling Obama a racist who has a deep hatred for all white people. So Beck gave Color for Change all the ammunition they needed to convince advertisers to leave Beck's show.

The companies also haven't left Fox News, they're just switching their ads to other timeslots.

Is it just me or is Fox a lot like 4chan? They both have jokes they love to repeat (memes and "truths" about liberals), they both have leaders they will always follow (Moot and Beck), and they both appeal to already angry people giving them something to hate (4chan with its love racism... and,well, Fox's love of racism).

The other day I was in a bookstore, and I noticed a book Glenn Beck apparently wrote. The cover was a picture of him eating California.

I bring it up only because I still haven't figured out what in fuck that was supposed to mean, and it's beginning to haunt my dreams.

I admittedly haven't seen many pictures of Glen Beck but can someone tell me why is he crying in every one of them?  Is it just some kind of crazy coincidence or does he actually spend that much time openly weeping for cameras?

It's because he perceives California to be the liberal, communist, socialist, 'I hate America', etc., state. Maybe he's saying something like: "I'm going to eat these pinkos alive!" or if he's vomiting it, then it's like: "HELP! THOSE LIBRULS ARE TAKEN AWAY MA FREEDOM OF SPEECH!" Or maybe it's neither and he's just fucking insane.

Yeah, but if Glenn Beck's show isn't making Fox any money from ads, it's gonna get taken down and replaced with something companies are willing to advertise on.
