Bought it about a week ago at a Borders in Saratoga Springs, NY. It was under "horror,” which was basically two bookshelves hidden behind the stairs going up the 2nd floor. I’m pretty sure I got the only copy.

I now have to decide between reading “Their Eyes Were Watching God” and passing English, or reading more JDatE.

I've let 3 people read it so far...

I guess I should probably make them buy their own copy... sorry David.

If it makes you feel any better, I'll buy the sequel, the movie, the soundtrack to the movie, the movie to the sequel, and the soundtrack to the movie to the sequel.

So, I pre-ordered JDatE from amazon and was super pumped to finally be able to read a forth edit of the book. But mysteriously after weeks of the book not showing up, I went back to amazon to see what the shiz was up and all traces of my pre-order had disappeared. So, I am wondering does amazon hate David Wong or me or JDatE? Are they scared; hasthis happened to anyone else? I re-ordered the thing anyway, whats the worst that could happ

I have not yet received the copy that I pre-ordered from Amazon.  However, I was able to walk into the local Barnes and Noble and pick up the copy I ordered through them.  The amount of awesome in this book is so profound that it cares not for trivial things like release dates.

Barnes and Noble has not ordered nearly as many copies for its shelves as Borders has. We need to show them the folly of that decision.

Aaaaand Barnes and Noble has now ordered additional copies. If they didn't have it before, they sure as fuck should have it now. My local Barnes and Noble got theirs in a few days ago.

We also caused Amazon to run out of copies, but they have more now.

Our Barnes and Noble finally got some in, ALL TOO LATE! But I thought you should know that when I saw them on the shelf last week, there were four copies. Yesterday, there was one.

I didn't buy the book from online, but went right to Barnes and Nobles and nabbed the last copy. I read it in three days. Reading the last bit on next to no sleep was one of the best choices I have ever made

This is in a Chapters in Mississauga, Ontario.

I work at a Coles in Ottawa, and have been waiting to see if we get any copies in. We don't have any yet (our store is small...it's in a mall) but I hope we get some in for the Christmas rush.

I had to order it at barnes and noble here in michigan, I got some serious smirks when I said David Wong. But I read it in 3 days, I got marked down in school to keep reading. I already got 2 other people to read it, although one person borrowed my copy. I'm reading it for the second time, and I gotta say, awesome.

I just picked up JDatE at Barnes & Nobel on Friday.  I was originally planning on reading the prologue and then waiting until Thanksgiving to finish the book.  I read the prologue, enjoyed it a lot and decided to read just a few more pages.  Before I knew it, I had read half of the book.  I finished it last night and will probably read it again during my time off at Thanksgiving.

It has been a long time since the last time I read a book that I enjoyed so much I read it in a weekend and even longer since I decided that a book was on my favorite list after only reading the first 100 pages.

I tried to buy your book in Borders, a large book chain in Australia, but to my surprise I found the permuted press edition only. I snapped it up for a nice $30 and was on my way. I just finished reading it, and it was so damn good. Thank you for the crotch-punching hilarity instilled in this book Wong. I will be on the look out for the newer editions as well and hopefully try and purchase it.

Aaaand I just finished reading JDatE. For a while I couldn't be bothered reading it. "Read a book" sounds like such a boring thing to do these days. Then I sat down and opened it up, in the middle of a quiet night at around 1AM.

I finally put the book down due to sleep deprivation, dehydration and exhaustion to find that it was 8AM and there was only a thin sliver of pages left to read.

Amazing is an understatement. This book is fully immersive and will have you guessing what's going to happen next until the conclusion. The book makes you think on one page, has you on the edge of your seat on another and makes you laugh your ass off in the next, and makes it flow in such a way I rarely see in a written medium.

Also, the bit where the fake Amy dies (I really liked her as a character as I felt genuine sympathy towards her) almost had me in tears, and I would rather stab myself in the throat than admit to anyone in real life that a piece of paper with words on it could make me feel this way.
