Well, we've outsold the Permuted edition...

Wow. The new one's been out for... two weeks, compared to... how long was the Permuted edition on sale for? Either way, that's freaking awesome. Congrats, Dave, it looks like you're a real-life (almost) professional writer-guy.

That's awesome.  JDatE was one of Permuted's best sellers for a pretty long time as well, so that's fairly impressive.

Congrats again Dave.

I checked store inventory at Borders.com for areas around here and the closest store is likely to have them in stock.

I just reserved one.  Tuesday can't come quick enough.

This is in a Chapters in Mississauga, Ontario. You'll be pleased to know that when I checked the stock for that store this afternoon, there was two in. When I went there after work, there was one left, and an empty space.

I have a copy waiting for me at a Barnes & Noble, and I will purchase it as soon as I get my next paycheck.

In case anyone was wondering (I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet) stores in the UK  are getting it in stock December 1st.

I asked around the stores near me today to try and get them to order it in, but they're already getting it in stock then.

Man I hadn't heard of a UK deal getting done at all but it's entirely possible they just haven't let me know yet.

Some proof to make the worldwide release of your book even more surreal and mindfucky. Well done.

What's that between the two Cafepress editions? Reflection? or do you actually own five and a half copies of the book?

Reflection.

Also, Amazon has dropped the price, as part of their ongoing price war with Walmart.com. Fourteen bucks and change!

I just received a box on my front door. I opened it and found not one, but two copies of JDATE.

I just sat there thinking "uh, has there been a mistake?" I went to Amazon, and sure enough it says I ordered two copies. Kind of weird since I distinctly remember ordering one. [Insert joke about the book taking control of my mind]

Oh well, I don't care. It's only money. Maybe I can donate the second copy to a library or something.

I got mine in the mail a few days ago. It was worth the extra 2 dollars.

Just got back from the Borders, book in hand.

I thought they would only have two copies, much like everywhere else I've seen.

I asked, it turns out UK book stores are buying from American distributors, which they can do if they want. Hopefully the demand will convince them to publish it over there for real (which would make it much more available).

Bought today. Been loving you since PWOT.com days, Dave. Found a copy in B&N, flipped it open, read about "illegal possession of a firearm," laughed, said "Oh, God," then moseyed to the register. Cheers, bud.

If it's out in December then I guess I already know what every single member of my family is getting for Christmas.  Even the ones who are 26 months old.
