Okay, enough ebay, enough people trying to order out of print editions on Amazon for $200. Orders for the new edition are up, at normal book prices:

If you don't mind, those of you who order reply in this thread to let me know. Pics of the book in your possession are even better. Just wanted to get sense of how many people are doing it.

In case you missed it, yes this edition is a hardcover. We got upgraded.

Pre-ordered TWO through amazon. Estimated ship date: October 4th. Estimated party date: October 5th.

I got two because I'm afraid the text will melt off of the first one and give me herpes.

No but seriously, I fully intend to buy more and just hand them out as a gift on any and all gift giving occasions. Any possibility of signed copies? Any procedure for that?

I'm outside the US, but I have a friend who works in a library and is getting it imported for me.

Still, I'm not the only one of my friends who wants this, you'd probably sell more books if you made an international pre-order option available.

Not sure if the preorders are international because I haven't checked, but as far as I know, the book will be sold worldwide.

I don't know what the status of the international orders is yet, if it doesn't give you the option right now just sit tight and it'll be available soon.

Availability should absolutely not be a problem unless something goes terribly wrong.
