I know I'm late here, but I just wanted to echo everyone's sentiments.  That is indeed a very awesome cover.  It also seems like it will really stand out on store bookshelves.  I can't wait to see my own copy sitting on the shelf at home, next to the Permuted edition.

I don't think anyone's posted this yet? Full cover, front and back, including inside flappy bits....AWESOME.

Seriously, people in bookshops are actually going to buy the living fuck out of this shit. This isn't going to be forgotten on a shelf somewhere, a book with a cover like that demands to be read.

That's spectacular.

Do I need to have 3 copies of this book?

Hell yes.

I like that the severed arm isn't all decomposing and gross. In true JDATE fashion, it's just a normal, functioning arm - only severed.

I wasn't sure about the cover till I saw the full sleeve. Now all I'm sure of is that it's the absolute best cover JDATE could have.

I also love the new blurb. Seriously, after seeing the cover, the title and reading that how could anyone not read the whole book?

Does it actually have anything to do with something in the book? I've read it several times, my friends and girlfriend have all read it several times, and no one gets it. Is it at all significant to the story or what?

What does this all mean?

I was just looking at the cover art for the book on the Fangoria website andHOLY SHIT THAT'S AMY'S HAND.

I wanted to relate that realization exactly how I came to it.

I'm entertaining the possibility that the cover contains a clue(s.)  Trying to figure out what passage Amy's hand is flipping the pages open to.

On a side note, reading the stuff on the inside flaps gave me chills.

That is without a doubt one of the best covers I've ever seen to a book. I've never done acid but looking at that cover makes me think I could be tripping.

Maybe, that was the cover we used on the preview editions that were sent out so either they have an outdated image or the publisher decided to go ahead and use that one for the paperback. Obviously it's in the spirit of the doodle David did for his psychologist.

Wow. That cover reminds me of Daniel Clowes at his most disturbing. That cover is all kinds of awesome.

Why would they be thinking about the paperback already?  Does it really take that long for a book to go to press?
