We're trying something new. Occasionally some of you will request that we re-run a previous contest premise, because either you weren't around back when we ran it the first time, or you thought up a great idea too late to get it in under the deadline, or else enough has happened in the world since then that there are all sorts of new possibilities for entries.

So we're going to unlock and allow new entries in old contests from time to time. Let's start with this one, Flowchart A Day In The Life of A Famous Person.

It will run from now until Tuesday August 3rd at 4:00 pm PST. Just post your entries here, like before.

The prize is still $50. We will likely run the winner on its own, with no runners-up, like we do with the infographics.

Entries must be no wider than 550 pixels.

OFFICIAL RULES

Participation in the Cracked.com Photoplasty Image Manipulation Contest (the “Contest”) constitutes your agreement to be bound by these Official Rules.  NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

Eligibility:  You must be a registered member of Cracked.com.  Employees, officers and directors of Cracked.com and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Contest.  Void where prohibited by law.
                                                                                                                               
Entry:  To enter, make an amusing image that conforms to the current theme and post it in this thread.  There is no limit on the number of entries you may submit.  If your image has naked people in it, please just link to the image rather than including the picture itself in your post.  Our Cracked Editorial Staff will create an article on Cracked.com that will feature our favorite submissions.  By submitting an entry, you agree to the use of your Cracked sign-in name in the article to appear on Cracked.com and for promotional purposes.  Entries can be no wider than 550 pixels.  Any bigger and it’s automatically disqualified.

Contest Period: The Contest begins at the time this message is posted and ends on August 3rd, 2010 at 4:00 PM Pacific Time.

Prize:  The winner of the Contest will win FIVE THOUSAND pennies, which is $50.  All federal, state and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Notification: The winner will be notified by private message on Cracked.com’s forums on or about the date that the contest results are published to Cracked.com.  If a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable and we are unable to reach the winner after at least 2 further attempts, the prize may be at the sole discretion of the Cracked.com.

Intellectual Property: You agree that Cracked.com may use the Submission, or any portions or elements of the Submission, as described in these Official Rules without any payment or other obligation whatsoever to you. If you are selected as a Winner, you agree to assign and hereby do assign to Cracked.com all of your rights, title and interest in the Submission.  You represent and warrant that you are (a) the author/creator of the Submission, (b) that you are the present and sole owner of all right, title and interest in and to the Submission, (c) that it is an original work, (d) that you have the full, exclusive and unconditional right and authorization to submit the Submission, and (f) that no third party has any rights in or to the Submission.  You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Cracked.com, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, successors and assigns, from and against any and all claims, demands, expenses, losses or liabilities including but not limited to reasonable attorney's fees and punitive damages that may be asserted against or incurred by them at any time in connection with the Submission, or any use thereof, including, without limitation, those arising from any breach, or alleged breach, of the warranties, representations and promises provided by you in these Official Rules.

General Conditions:  No purchase necessary.  Cracked.com is not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) misdirected or delayed mail or e-mail; (ii) telephone, telecommunications, hardware or third party software malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (iii) any condition caused by events beyond Cracked.com control that may cause the Contest to be disrupted, corrupted or terminated; (iv) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of participating in the Contest or foolish spending of the prize; or (iv) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest.  Cracked.com reserves the right to disqualify, in its sole discretion, any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the systems required to conduct the Contest or operate the Cracked.com web site, or who is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules.  All issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the participants, shall be determined by Cracked.com in its sole discretion.  All decisions of Cracked.com are final.  By participating in the Contest, you also agree to be bound by the Cracked.com Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
