Anyone running Firefox should consider investing in NoScript, it keeps shit like this from happening: http://noscript.net/

Yeah I keep getting google warnings about this site.  I took a screenshot in the bug report thread.  Something keeps trying to open Adobe Acrobat.
I just got that too, i had my anti-virus up, it isn't a bug, it's a virus called win32/cryptor, something that injects your computer with either Malware or the Trojan Virus, in other words, whoever this ad company is, they are running virus-latent ads.

Awesome.  I just started getting these ads.  I saw the incenticlick url come up for a fraction of a second before the ad page.  I tried closing Mozilla Minefield and trying again but I'm still getting it.  When I use IE it doesn't happen, and it doesn't seem to be happening on other web pages either.  Very odd.

So, I assume I'm not the only one getting hit by incenticlick overload? every time a page on cracked loads, I get a redirect to an inactive link. I'm having to Stop the page just before it finishes loading.

Just started getting them.  I've kept a separate tab open with the Wal-Mart add on it and it seems to stop another one from loading.

PWOT started giving me white screens instead of actual pages on Opera, so I switched to Chrome for a while, and I just started getting the ads there. I guess now I'm limited to Firefox and, God forbid, Internet Explorer.

The Wal Mart ad happened to me about ten minutes ago. It was about every other link for a good five minutes, but hasn't happened for ten minutes or so.

The last time it happened was when I hit the reply button in the bug report thread.

I've had no problems since I edited my hosts file.

If you don't know how to edit it and would like to, go to
run->%windir%\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\etc\HOSTS like in the screen shot below.

Open it in wordpad and then add this to the bottom

127.0.0.1 incentaclick.com

This will prevent any incentaclick ads from loading on your computer.
Save and enjoy

Wouldn't disabling the ads also rob Cracked of ad revenue? Or do ad programs pay on something like what percentage of viewers actually click the advertisement?

I confess, internet revenue streams are not my forte. I found a Firefox plugin, Adblock Plus that does the exact same thing, except slightly more user-friendly for those of us that are about as tech savvy as the average grandmother.

I wasn't getting any until today, and all of a sudden they're happening whenever I'm on this forum, Something Awful, or the Penciljack forums.

About a minute ago I went to the front page through a bookmark and the page went away and I got some sort of anti-virus software ad.  If this is a new version of the banner that pops out of an ad, it's fucking HUGE.

When I clicked on Daisy Owl from the front page earlier, I got a huge pop-up that said my computer was in danger & it started downloading anti-spy things. Then a voice came over my computer (it was a computerized woman with a British accent) "Microsoft has detected a problem with your hardware." At which point I closed the window and shut down the computer.  It may not be totally site related, or I'm not sure, but it freaked me out a fair bit.

I was just on the homepage of the website, and without clicking anything I was taken to

http://best-online-antivirus-scanner.info/scan.php?campaign=2517185451&landid=2&country=us&rs=

However I don't think the webpage was displaying on my browser (IE).

I'll let them know. They said they found the other one and shut it down.

Another site I noticed having this problem.

I just got the ad (the bad one, with the fake virus scan) earlier today.

Anybody else still getting this?
