Kudos for the attempt to rebrand the much hated ladders as climb-sticks.  They'll be back in fashion in no time.

Destroying the Germans should be our top priority. If we share a border with the Pope he might start to like us more. Or might have to.  Taking out the Germans also puts us in the position to take out Milan as well.  Our enemies in priority should be HRE, Poland, Milan.

Since the Mongolians have turned northward out of fear, I think the Turks and the Russians have the most to fear. We should take Antioch and Jerusalem back as soon as possible.  Also, pump out priests in the Holy Land so that we can convert the populace before we conquer the cities. That way they're more subservient and less likely to riot.

In siege warfare, use 1 ram and 1 or 2 siege towers when attacking. Refrain from using the dreaded climb-sticks.

Leofric the Lion

Proud Leofric, friend of Dane, giver to the German allies, destroyer of rebels and enemies. His sword sung for blood as the valkyries sung his name.
Traitorous Loki, disguised as the reviled Tyrolese envied the most puissant of all heroes. In cowardice he set forth to war with a quiver of magic arrows. In Nuremburg he vowed to end this mortals reign lest they hear his song ever after. In Nuremburg the strike comes about, but no insolent cowardice of rock and wood can injure the Lion from afar. As the walls fall and the towers roll, the Merciless stands atop the tower, alone and unfaltering. The enemy break for the wall as he rushes to his horse, Thunder by name. To the breach he charged, and his guard follows.  As the Lion lays about with sword and shield atop noble Thunder hundreds fall and the enemy runs. No clash of steel true to word would touch him. 'Fight on!' The bellow comes from the greatest warrior in the land, as they charge out to eliminate all who oppose. Then the first feathered death fell. As a flower atop a grave it sprouts. Klaus, the sword bearer and his trusted German lieutenant weeps, rushing to his lord’s side. Leofric snarls. It is all that Klaus needs to remember that no mere arrow could fell such a mighty man. But a quiver... a quiver has struck, as Loki lets loose time and again. His shrill laughter is heard atop the wall. Huscarls let loose their berserker nature, the enemy fall by the thousands as the great Danish army vies for vengeance and blood for their fallen champion. 'For Leofric!' The cry is heard far and wide whence Imperial and Dane sword meet in battle. Noble Klaus, cheeks wet from tears of sadness and rage charges ever forward to slay every last vestige of the insolent army. Alas the arm tires as the blood runs in rivulets down his blade and the horse wades ankle deep through the body choked streets of Nuremburg. 'For Leofric!', the cry is heard, none louder than from his men, those great fighters he spared in combat to join his ranks as the elite of the Kingdoms forces.
Soon the Empire will be lost 'neath his shadow. His men long to finish his task, as he had moved through their capital at Frankfurt down thru Staufen and toward the trade center of Nuremberg. Now the Empire is a empty husk, left with only the Tyrolese and Austrian provinces. And so the Lions’ shadow looms ahead. For Leofric, they shall be torn asunder as his every will moves our blades forward and his specter haunts our enemies.

As seen by Sir Fox, Captain in the Royal Army, Master scribe and historian to the Kings of Denmark

I hope that does that merciless bastard justice.
