This is not the "tell me what you thought of my Photoshop Contest entry" thread.  Posts from this point forward will be deleted if they are asking what people think of your entry in a current contest.  If someone finds your entry particularly good or bad, they'll post about it here.  If you manage to make the top 20 (or whatever) list, you obviously did something right.  If you don't, try again next time.

If you have a question about an entry you were particularly proud of that didn't win, feel free to ask for constructive criticism here.  Realize that while you will likely get no direct response from the editorial team (the people responsible for actually picking the winners), you can still receive feedback that may help you improve the quality of your future entries.

If you want to ask a question about an entry from a currently running contest, you may do so in this thread.

Most of the entries where people have made alternate covers for the game don't really fit the theme. They look less like ideas rejected from GTA IV, and more like completely different versions of the game that are nothing like Grand Theft Auto. Remember Hot Coffee? That is the sort of thing you should be coming up with, only more retarded and bizarre.

You can call my thing unfunny or stupid, but how is Crippy, your pop-up animated, gun-toting sidekick not a "character too retarded for GTA?" That's the idea.

I thought the dinosaur one was funny. I don't think it should have won, but it made me chuckle.

I think the theme should be taken as losely as possible. The theme of the last one was a 'poster' but a magazine ad won. I think that's cool, as long as it's funny and some effort's gone into it.

There are cave drawings with edited versions of Clippy chiseled into the rock.

That's my favorite mission.

Is there a fancy phrase like "Pot calling the kettle black" for a situation in which the pot is calling something like a Tupperware container (that isn't black) black?  I just want to know.
