SOmeone provided me with this image and it just blew my mind.

That is a sunset on Mars.  Another planet.  It's still hard to grasp....

At that site in addition to several particularly awesome pictures, there's also a movie compiled of the approach targeting pictures taken by the impactor which basically shows a video of what you wouldve seen on the nose of the space probe as you crashed into the comet.  It's pretty interesting.

This photo is amazing in that it would amazingly suck.

I dont want to get all nerd up in here, but theres actually a really cool explanation for that happening.  When the wind is forced to curve around the mountain it speeds up due to the whole bernoulli's principle thing, which causes the pressure to drop.  The lower pressure air is "more saturated" which can cause some of the humidity in it to condense out in the form of clouds.

Note that Im not 100% sure of this explanation but based on experience with a similar phenomenon, Im taking my best, educated guess.

This sponge-like strange looking object is Hyperion, a 220 mile long moon of Saturn photgraphed by the Cassini probe on a flyby 5 days ago.
Quote
The irregular shape of Hyperion and evidence of bombardment by meteors makes it appear to be the oldest surface in the Saturn system.

You don't notice that the boats are passing OVER other boats?  On an overpass made of water?

It's a water bridge they built in Germany where two canals intersect.  I've never seen anything like it and I'm not sure how it's even possible.

Overpasses for boats are common? Maybe you're thinking of canals.
