Not a movie, but the above post reminded me:

I was watching an old Wings rerun one time (don't judge me) and saw Matthew Fox (Matt Fox in the credits), also of Lost fame, as a high school baseball star. I'm too lazy to IMDB it, but I'd say it was probably one of his first acting gigs.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but apparently Tom Cruise was in The Outsiders. Anyone wanna confirm this?

But then thought about Michael Bay getting tea-bagged, and that shit's fucking hilarious.

Consider it confirmed. Cruise WAS in The Outsiders. I forget his character's name, though.

That flick launched/helped launch a hell of a lot of people.

It also helped ruin Francis Ford Coppola's career. Of course, you could say that about any of his post-Apocalypse work. I can't help but wonder what happened.

I win!

I was in the hospital a few years ago watching "Unsolved Mysteries".  There was a "dramatization" where a young man got shot in the head.  When he was shot, he slowly fell into his mother's arms and, with his last dying breath, pointed at his shooter.  The victim was none other than Matthew "God dammit why do I suck so bad" McConaghey.

Bow to me.
