The thing that gets me is that some are actually surprised by this. Canadians have always been weird in our eyes, and the French have been doubly so in everyones. A French-Canadiot is even more bizarre. This is 'culture' to them. This is sophistication. Anyway, if they think this is art they probably think watching a 250lb woman shattering some poor guys pelvis is porn.

Did I lay any claim to being such? It was just my view on it. The 'in' crowd gobbles this kind of new age crap up, just as they think a starving dog is art. A statue of of feces in the likeness of the virgin Mary is art to them too. Its all crap, some literally, some figuratively, and don't think I won't trash my own country when this kind of crap crops up here.
