I'm partial to the typo in the Cafepress version that accidentally rendered John's name as an unspeakable series of monolithic alien letters that writhed as if the very paper itself burned them. Whenever I close my eyes I can see the image of those inhuman words burned onto the backs of my retinas.

It haunts me.
