I found it! It's Electronic Tigers. Today's webcomic is a webcomic about webcomics. Prepare to be brutalized.

Why are you mentioning Electronic Tigers?  What on earth about our strip could you possibly consider 'worst' in the webcomics arena?

Mixing comics and baseball has to be an odd division in fanbase.  While your art was nice, and actually I like the art style quite a bit, I didn't think it was funny.  It had its funny moments at times, but the one that he happened to link wasn't funny to me at all.

Well, truth be told I don't find it funny either, but I'm not a baseball fan.  El Gato is, and he writes some of the strips, and as he says 'you can't be funny to everyone all the time'.  After all, it's not Seinfeld, you know, the show that was about 'nothing'? 

At any rate, no comic is funny every single strip to everyone, I just hope to be funny more days than not to most people.

Hey there, thanks for your input, I'd love to get a more succinct critique of our comic.  What isn't very good, the artwork?  The writing?  I'm sure you've got a better dissection of our web comic than 'not very good'.  Please, share your wisdom with me so that I may learn.  Oh, and do you have any examples of web comics you find better in both art and writing?  Do you have a web comic of your own I could learn from?

I really liked the art for Electronic Tigers, it reminds me of what you'd see on comic book covers, and inevitably the actual artwork sucks. Sorry I haven't read any of it yet, although I will say that the art is well above average, and I think I will at least give it a chance.

Now, on to bashing: CAD. I don't dislike it because it's popular, or because it's 'trendy' to dislike it. It's actually not a very funny webcomic. It's sort of like that doctor comic in the newspaper, but with worse art. Perhaps it's not just trend that determines the dislike of the comic, it might just actually suck. I think it was D.L. Hughley(sp?) who said that, sometimes it's racism, and sometimes it's just damn fine police work.

Electronic Tigers may not be too good, but the art is pretty high quality.

None of the comics so far stood out, until Gamer Chicks. Holy shit that is just awful. That's my vote.

Okay. The artwork is fine. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the art.

However, the writing in your comic is so indescribably terrible that it makes me want to vomit everything out of my entire body onto my computer monitor. For someone with such an expansive vocabulary, I should hope you know the meaning of the word 'subtlety'. This is something your comic lacks.

I don't mind people not liking it.  Can't please everyone, don't intend to.  I just want an actual critique if you're going to say 'it's bad' or whatever.  Bad in what?  The art is professional, the writing, according to MANY is funny and smart...

So if someone just doesn't like it for, as one said, not being 'subtle', that's a critique of personal taste, not a critique of quality.

There's lots of stuff I don't like out there based on taste, I don't lambast them for being 'bad'.  And there's lots of stuff I like 'taste' wise, that I can criticize on quality vehemently. 

I just don't see anything, quality wise, that would qualify Electronic Tigers as a web comic that should at all be listed in 'Worst Webcomics' anywhere.

I have absolutely no problem with "irreverent, non-PC humor" as you so eloquently put it, however when jokes are telegraphed and spelled out as obviously as they are in your comic, that's when you lose me.
