If you've never played before, it works like this:

2.  You will make an amusing photoshop image that conforms to that theme;

4.  You can submit as many entries as you want;
 
5.  In a week we will pick a winner and run it on the front page of Cracked.com, along with the runners-up, thus making you instantly world famous.

6.  The first-place winner will win FIVE THOUSAND pennies, which is $50.

7.  The runners-up will win THE SATISFACTION OF KNOWING THEY ALMOST WON and other than that, not a damned thing.

Truthful banner ads.

What would internet ads look like in a world where absolute honesty and disclosure were required?  You tell us.

IMPORTANT:  Entries can be no wider than 480 pixels.  Any bigger and it's automatically disqualified. 

Animated gifs ARE allowed.

480 pixels.  That's the WIDEST POSSIBLE IMAGE A CRACKED PAGE CAN DISPLAY.

So 728 x 90 banner ads are out.  We'd have to shrink them to fit in the article and then your joke may not be visible.

Quick question: If I wanted to make an animated gif in flash, is there a way to set it up so that its set to 480 pixels wide so I don't have to stupidly guess with its size and such?

I don't have Flash installed right now but can't you just set the size of the "stage" or "work area" or whatever it's called in the overall file settings?  Set it to 480x120 or whatever it is you want.
