As you can see we got a pretty enthusiastic response to the movie posters idea, and we'd like to keep doing it as long as there's participation and enthusiasm.

Is there some subject you'd like to see a bunch of retarded photoshops of?  I'd like to hear your suggestions.

How's about "What jobs would the current presidential candidates be doing after/if they lose?" or some such?

Anything where Sanchez can't enter. He's too damn good.

The media-related photoshop contests seem to engender the most enthusiasm (the Harry Potter one and the most recent movie one). At the risk of alienating the non-Americans, perhaps an election ad photoshop contest? It's getting to be that time again in the States.

US election photoshops where the candidates are pandering to an extremely small/unique voting block (Trekkies, Soap Opera Moms etc.)

Or weird Public Service Announcments.

Advertisements for games like Guitar Hero, but with other subject matter.

For example: Cooking Hero, Tribadism Hero, Trial Litigation Hero, etc. Bonus points for also photoshopping a humorous controller to go with the game.

Ridiculous billboard style public service announcements.

'Never-should-have-gone-there' book to film adaptations (although there were quite a few for the last one already).

Business advertisements that actually tell the truth.

Protests against things that you apparently didn't understand. (i.e. the classic "Fight women's suffrage!")

Now that I think about it... some of these require more cleverness than photoshop ability. But I'll throw them out there on the off chance that they'll spark an actual good idea for someone else.

I also liked Drowned God's idea, the controller clinched it.

I loved the "Rejected Game Concepts" things on JP.  If we made our own that would be pretty dandy, it's a concept that a lot of different people can bring something funny to.  if it's okay with Jay, i'd like it if we all gang-raped his idea for a week or so.

This sort of encapsulates all of "gaming" without getting too specific and is a more universal heading under which to put ideas like Drowned God's.

Business advertisements that actually tell the truth.

I think this might be really good.  Like if there was a strictly enforced law that all advertisements had to be completely truthful.  So you'd have like an "All these singles are just waiting for your call" ad with pictures of really ugly people.

Also, my pet topic, ads for video games (or other traditionally male-oriented products), targeting specifically women.  Pictures of Halo characters hugging or going on a shopping spree together.

Superheroes that don't exist yet.

Oh, that reminds me.  Superpowers that would actually be feasible and scientifically possible in real life.  Comic book covers of these people.  Fast-Nosehair-Growing-Man.  Slightly-Stronger-Than-Usual-Man.

- Danger on the Playground: photoshops of extremely unsafe playground equipment

- Unnecessary Prescription Drugs

- Lifetime Original Movie Posters: the channel with all those movies of women getting beaten.

- Camera crews filming where they shouldn't be

yeah it should be things that are modern but have very specific guidelines like cd covers, product labels, magazine ads...
basically things that are 'in print'.
then we just get specific about it, ie; "awful restaurant ads" or "horrifiying local businesses" or "terrible political ads" (might not be a good idea seeing as the slightest political reference killed my karma score (fuckers)).

anyway, it just needs to be any medium that requires both creative concept and design.

How about failed novels of accomplished authors.  For example you could do a cover of Leo Tolstoy's famous attempt at a romance novel and have the Fabio type cover except instead of Fabio have a grizzly old Russian.

Anthrophomorphised popular media.
