I'm resurrecting this to point out that, while still being over 100 points off the lead, I somehow got 80 this week. A few more decent showings could scrape me into third, maybe.

Fuckballs, I don't check for a couple of weeks and suddenyl I'm rock bottom.  I've taken permanently crocked Van Pussy out of the team and replaced him with Emanuel 'not-nearly-as-useful-but-at-least-he-can-stay-on-his-feet-for-five-minutes-without-snapping-in-half' Adebayor.  I was tempted to go with Agbonglahor, but he plays for Villa and concedeing against them is a bit like being crushed by a falling tree.

yea i resently just sold Kuyt  and picked up Young (who got me 8 pts this week) so that was a big boost, as well as i sold derbyshire (filler of team in the beginning) to pick of benjani so hopefully now that i have some strikers who can score and are healthy atm ill slow cut into the lead and regain the top spot

So i had a choice of Ronaldo or Fabregas as captain last week. Looking at the fixtures, i felt that surely, surely Arsenal would crush Birmingham, whereas Man U may have struggled with Newcastle, so Cesc got the armband. Ronaldo gets a hat trick and a grand total of 21 points. Not to be outdone, Fabregas got four points.

We have pretty much taken over a league at work, and its kind of addictive fun, certainly much better than actually working in the office.

I think if we had enough pwot football fans involved, it would be good times. Its not exactly champ man, but its a bit of quick fun if you get all your mates to take over team in a dead league. A PWOT league would be fun.

After a solid mid-table all season, I've stormed into second place. Possibility of making up the 35 points to go top? Not great.

ive been solid all season just getting screwed over cause i dont have Ronaldo. So cant complain about third for now.

The real victory is that in my family league I came top by one point over my brother. Knew we should have put money on it.
