Your turn. Should you find one's musical tastes are offensively different to your own, try to express your displeasure in a civil manner.

Unless you disagree with my choice, in which case you can go fuck yourself. Anyway, your pick of the best album in the free world:

GO!

I had no idea that Larry Vales 2: Dead Girls Are Easy had ripped their logo off an album cover.

Maybe the album covers are a bad idea. Our 56k brethren may be upset.

That's the fifteenth time I've seen that idiot stork this month. What kind of nepotistic poovery is going on in the music press that's causing Angel Dust to be reevaluated as one of the greatest albums ever? It's still just as boring as it was back in 1992.

This album, however, is very good.

I think it's getting perilously close to a cliche to mention Tool, but I don't care, I love this album.

For those of us on dial-up, can you please type the name of the album along with the picture?

Much appreciated.

I must say I find some of the entries for 'The single best album ever' fills me with consternation, but that is a matter of personal taste and means shite all.

What surprises me is that some of you can answer at all. I've had discussions with a few of you about music, and know that some of you have greatly varying tastes. With all of the different styles and genres there are to experience, you could choose just one?

You could have titled this thread 'The Twenty best albums ever' and I still don't think I could have chosen.

Yeah, this thread is pretty stupid. It's fun to post cover art, though.

I'd have to second Angel Dust nomination.  It's the one album where I can truly say I've never heard anything quite like it.

Sanchez, I don't read the music press except for a very, very occasional glance at Pitchfork Media if I'm bored, so that's not why I nominated it.  I honestly do think it's great, this isn't just hype/trend-following on my part.  It surprises me that you find an album as varied as Angel Dust boring, but each to their own, I suppose.
